The Corinthian new Testament Church was very corrupt. No wonder that it is being picked to warn the church of the last days against the lust of the flesh and our corrupt desires.

1. Corinthian 10 cites the rebellion in the wilderness of sin as an "example" of these last days of whom the ends of the world are come.

Q. What did happen in the wilderness of sin and temptation?  A. "But the house of Israel rebelled against Me in the wilderness: they walked not in My statutes, and they despised My judgments, which if a man do, he shall even live in them; and My Sabbath they greatly polluted: then I said, I would pour out My fury upon them in the wilderness, to consume them."--Ezekiel 20:13.

The seven last plagues are given to those who worship the beast [Rev.13] i.e. false worship! Towards the end of His ministry, Jesus said unto the Jews: "Your house [the house of Israel] is left unto you desolate." Matthew 23:38 This coincides with the ultimatum GOD had set to Israel in Daniel 9 where it also says that the Temple remains desolate, i.e. will never be rebuilt. Q. Why? Because when we look to the earthly Temple with its sacrificial system, we are missing that the earthly was only a copy of the real Temple in Heaven where Jesus now ministers as our great high Priest in front of the ark of the testament [Revelation 11:19; 15:5]which contains the 10 Commandments with the true Lord's day or Christ's Seventh-day Sabbath in the centre.

Back to Ezekiel: "My priests [today's religious leaders] have violated My law, and have profaned Mine holy things; they have put no difference between the holy and profane, and neither have they showed difference between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from My Sabbaths, and I am profaned among them."--Ezekiel 22:26.

The very same thing is happening today. The opening quote above found in 1.Corinthian 10 speaks of the lust. Here in Psalms GOD tells us what happened back there in the wilderness when He re-introduced the vegetarian diet to His people: "And they sinned yet more against Him by provoking the Most High in the wilderness. And they tempted GOD in their heart by asking meat for their lust."---Ps. 78:17,18.

The Seventh-day Sabbath, or the true Lord's day of the Lord Jesus is also given as an example of the wilderness rebellion in two other New Testament chapters, namely, Hebrews 3+4
Here it says, "For he that is entered into His rest [born again], he also has ceased from his own works, as GOD did rest from His."--Heb.4:10

At creation GOD did not need resting, but He did it just to give us an example. When the six days of labour are over, we meet with our GOD into holy prime time.
                           Just before our Lord of the Sabbath returns, His holy day is again brought into prominence by the 1. Angel of Revelation 14 when the churches of Christendom have been bribed by the Templeton Foundation to replaced creation with evolution. Here is what the Angel says: "Saying with a loud voice, Fear GOD and give glory to Him; for the hour of His judgment is come; and worship Him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters."--Rev.14:7

Here it is clear why the judgments of our GOD are fallen!!!!

The 'New Life Chorale' is our 40 voice Choir that throughout the year visits Nursing Homes and Retirement Villages regularly. At year end Carols Services are conducted. The Chorale has a Prison Ministry and has been to several Institutions in Brisbane, Toowoomba and the Brisbane Valley.  

The outreach of the Church members includes door to door visitation with the popular magazine 'Signs of the Times' and the lending out of Videos from the Church Library. This is followed up with Bible studies either 'One on One' or in small family groups.
